Projects.
Every project is a chance to shape something meaningful, a space that reflects your life, values, and aspirations.
We believe your home should feel like an extension of you, which is why we begin every journey by listening. By understanding your goals and how you live, we collaborate with trusted consultants and craftspeople to bring your vision to life. Whether we’re working as part of a larger team or leading the process from concept to completion, we tailor our approach to suit you.
From contemporary new builds to the careful restoration of heritage buildings, we focus on creating spaces that are both enduring and personal, places that feel naturally yours.

Our Work

Ash Close
This proposal introduces a carefully considered two-storey side and single-storey rear extension to a family home, designed to enhance everyday living while remaining respectful of the existing architecture.
To the rear, the extension transforms the ground floor into a spacious, light-filled open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area, perfectly suited to the rhythms of modern family life. A new utility room and ground-floor WC are seamlessly integrated, while a dedicated playroom at the front of the home offers a flexible, functional space for a growing child.
On the first floor, the addition of a fourth bedroom and an enlarged family bathroom future-proofs the home for evolving needs, offering greater comfort and convenience. This subtle yet impactful extension reimagines the home's layout, delivering improved flow, flexibility, and a renewed sense of connection throughout.

Bunkers Hill
This project reworks a distinctive period property originally formed from two separate dwellings, one of which had been poorly extended in the past. Our proposal addresses the disjointed layout by introducing two dedicated home studio spaces, one within the existing structure and the other as part of a new, more cohesive extension.
The internal arrangement has been carefully reconfigured to create clearer separation between work and living areas, while also establishing a more welcoming and defined entrance sequence. The result is a home that better supports contemporary family life and remote working needs.
Externally, the newer of the two original volumes is re-clad to provide visual contrast with the more traditional element. This subtle intervention helps unify the composition while celebrating the building’s layered history and evolving character.

Romeley Crescent
This project involves the extension and transformation of a 1960s/70s bungalow, with a focus on enhancing both function and character. The internal layout has been reworked to create a spacious, open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area that better suits the needs of modern living.
A new bedroom with an en-suite has been added within the extension, improving the home's flexibility and future-proofing it for changing family needs. The updated layout offers improved flow and connectivity throughout, maximising natural light and usability.
Externally, the property has undergone a complete facade renovation. A combination of hit-and-miss vertical timber cladding and silicone render introduces depth, contrast, and a contemporary identity, breathing new life into the home while remaining grounded in its original form.difference.

Springfield Road
Set within a handsome late Victorian semi-detached home, this project thoughtfully reconfigures and extends the ground floor to suit contemporary living while maintaining a respectful dialogue with the property's period character. The original layout, though charming, felt disconnected and underutilised for modern family life.
The proposal introduces a modest rear extension and a full internal reorganisation, creating a generous open-plan kitchen and dining area, complemented by a separate snug for more intimate moments. The new layout enhances flow, natural light, and a stronger relationship with the rear garden, while improving the overall function of the home.
Externally, the extension adopts a refined, contemporary language that contrasts softly with the existing stonework. Slim-framed glazing, clean lines, and warm natural materials offer a subtle counterpoint to the Victorian detailing, allowing the new addition to sit confidently yet harmoniously alongside the original architecture.

Sackerville
Located on a narrow garden plot in North East Derbyshire, this new-build family home takes inspiration from traditional agricultural buildings in both form and materiality. The design responds to its tight site with a barn-like simplicity, clean lines, a pitched roof, and a strong linear footprint, while remaining sensitive to the local vernacular.
The two-storey dwelling is arranged with a clear spatial hierarchy: an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living space occupies the ground floor, while five compact bedrooms and ancillary spaces are carefully laid out above. Despite its modest scale, the plan maximises usability and flow, delivering generous light-filled interiors and direct access to the surrounding garden.
Externally, the home is clad in a material palette that reflects the rural context while offering a contemporary edge. Considered proportions, minimal detailing, and subtle variations in texture ground the new home in its setting, creating a quietly confident addition to the evolving landscape.

Oxclose Park
This single-storey rear extension reconfigures and enlarges a detached mid-century home in Halfway, Sheffield. The original kitchen and dining areas were separate and constrained, limiting the potential of the space. The brief was to create a more functional, connected environment that better supports family life.
The new layout combines kitchen, dining, and living into one generous open-plan space, opening directly onto the garden. This improved footprint allows for greater flexibility, light, and flow throughout the ground floor, transforming the way the home is used day to day.
Externally, the extension is expressed with clean, modern lines that complement the home's original character. Large roof lights and expansive glazing frame garden views and bring light deep into the plan, creating a space that is both welcoming and practical for contemporary living.
